- Spectacular Scotland – The Royal Mile was all a frenzy with The Fringe festivities…world’s greatest platform for creative freedom…but the main reason we came was for the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo…encompassing 26 military marching bands and dance troops from around the world. Beyond Spectacular!
- Thrilled that Cinzia (sister) & Fabio joined us from Trieste, Italy and got to have dinner with Alex & Barbara…whom we met on our…“Slow Boat to Singapore” cruise in 2016.
- Then we took two day trips…1st to St. Andrews…that included Anstruther & Falkland…where they film Outlander…2nd was to North Berwick…quaint coastal town…just 40 miles from Edinburgh…with the best lobster ever!
Trip Recap – Exceptionally Epic! But not without some avoidable disappointments…
…and one’s out of our control…like British Airways computers being down…
…the day we flew home…at least we had the lounge…and we didn’t miss our flight!
New Travel Motto: When it’s no longer FUN, we’re done!
Thank God our international bucket runneth over!

More FF – Hjaltibonhoga means ‘Shetland, my spiritual home’.
More FF – Tattoo Dance Company celebrates the cultural tradition in highland dancing & has been developed to promote traditional Scottish art forms, ensuring that these cultural identities are shared internationally.
