…we all patiently awaited with delightful anticipation…
- But…the wind Gods were not working in our favor…
…so instead a side trip to the tower…
…for our valley view…
…would just have to do.

…offset by a massive emerald positioned to reflect the last rays of the setting sun…
…surrounded by dozens of intricately decorated buildings and statues…
…makes this religious monument most spectacular.
FUN-fact – estimated to be 2,600 years old… makes Shwedagon the oldest pagoda in the world.
