FUN-photos: Baja Wilderness & Whale Adventure – Las Animas

On February 23rd we flew from San Diego to Bahía de Los Ángeles located on the Sea of Cortez to begin our three day stay at the Las Animas Wilderness Retreat. It was an amazing trip! We hiked in the rugged terrain surrounding us, dug for clams and oysters, caught yellowtail, saw fin whales, a school of over 30 dolphins frolicking in the wake of our boat, and an abundance of birds including blue footed boobies. All this, and being totally isolated in a private paradise, free of massive hotels and hordes of tourists is heaven on earth.
